The Art of Bahaiden – Between Light, Pain, and Humanity
Introduction
In a world shaped by borders, ideologies, and ongoing crises, the Mannheim-based artist Bahaiden creates a space where art becomes a dialogue between the soul, memory, and the possibility of a future. Born in the Middle East, he brings with him not only his personal journey but also a profound philosophical vision of humanity as fragile, searching, and deeply spiritual.
His works – from monumental paintings to installations, graphic series, and performances – oscillate between pain and redemption, the visible and the unspeakable. They do not seek to provide answers but to raise essential questions about home, loss, identity, God, language, and the fragile possibility of a shared, peaceful world.
Artistic Goal
Bahaiden’s central goal is not to decorate the visible but to reveal the invisible. His art acts as a mirror of the inner human condition – our fears, longings, and hopes. In a time of fragmentation and digitization, his work reminds us of what connects us as human beings: light in the darkness, the echo of memory, and the trembling before the Other that is ultimately ourselves.
He writes a visual manifesto of humanity – not dogmatically, but openly, gently, questioningly. His art is both resistance and prayer, silence and scream, contemplation and confrontation.

彼の作品 ― 巨大な絵画からインスタレーション、グラフィックシリーズ、パフォーマンスまで ― は、痛みと救済、目に見えるものと言葉にできないものの間を揺れ動きます。それらは答えを提供することではなく、故郷、喪失、アイデンティティ、神、言語、そして共有され平和な世界という脆い可能性について、本質的な問いを提起します。
芸術的目標
バハイデンの中心的な目標は、目に見えるものを飾ることではなく、目に見えないものを明らかにすることです。彼の芸術は、人間の内なる状態 ― 恐れ、憧れ、そして希望 ― を映し出す鏡の役割を果たします。断片化とデジタル化が進む現代において、彼の作品は、人間としての私たちを繋ぐもの、つまり闇の中の光、記憶の残響、そして究極的には私たち自身である他者を前にした震えを、私たちに思い起こさせてくれる。
彼は人間性の視覚的なマニフェストを綴る。独断的ではなく、率直に、優しく、そして問いかけるように。彼の作品は、抵抗と祈り、沈黙と叫び、思索と対峙を織り交ぜたものなのだ。
Mein Manifest
Mein Manifest Kunst stellt die wichtigste und wertvollste Schönheit im menschlichen Leben dar. Ein Leben ohne Kunst wäre grau und trostlos. Ein Leben ohne Kunst ist wertlos. Die bildende Kunst mit starken Ideen und harmonischen Farben lässt die Welt der Menschheit neu erscheinen. Sie stabilisiert die Lebenskraft und erzeugt tiefgreifende Wirkungen beim Betrachter. Kunst sollte den Menschen nicht vorenthalten werden, sonst entsteht eine leere und traurige Welt. Ohne Kunst verliert die Menschheit den Dialog und das gemeinsame Kommunizieren. Ein Austausch zwischen den verschiedenen Kulturen fände nicht statt und der Austausch von Ideen bliebe aus. Ziel meiner Kunst ist die grenzenlose Welt. Der isoliert, in seinem Atelier lebende Künstler sendet keine Botschaften in die Welt neuen Ideen bleiben aus, seine Kunst verkümmert. Doch gerade das Schaffen faszinierender Farben ist Aufgabe des Künstlers. Seine Funktion ist die Entwicklung einer besseren Welt. Aus diesem Grund wird der Künstler im Dasein der Menschheit gebraucht. Mein Ziel ist, durch meine Kunst einen Dialog herbeizuführen. Sie soll als Licht der Welt erscheinen und sich nicht in Dunkelheit verlieren. Die grenzenlose Kunst schützt die Welt und ihre Menschheit vor Entfremdung und Vernichtung.
